Morphological, Physiological and Quality Performances of Basil Cultivars under Different Fertilization Types

The prospect of replacing traditional chemical fertilization with organic and microorganism-based meets the current demand for more sustainable cropping systems healthy food. In this respect, research was carried out to evaluate effects factorial combination between four basil cultivars (‘Aromat de Buzau’, ‘Macedon’, ‘Cuisoare’ ‘Serafim’) three types fertilization, namely (with a solid fertilizer), chicken manure formulate) microorganisms’ microorganisms formulate), on yield, biochemical physiological parameters essential oil composition. results showed that biometric (plant height, number stems leaves leaf area) were significantly influenced by cultivar; ‘Macedon’ obtained highest values plant height (64.7 cm) (20.33) (618.3) ‘Serafim’ largest area (4901.7 cm2 per plant), while type did not affect these parameters.
